About

My approach to training starts where your dog is most comfortable. By helping your dog FEEL better, not just DEAL better it allows your dog to learn, opening the door for real change to happen. My training style has evolved over the years and the techniques that I use are based on the teachings of Mark and Stephanie McCabe and their  Training Between The Ears system. My mentor Mark likes to say, “training begins in the living room”. The primary objective is to remove conflict and pressure from training and help your dog make better choices, becoming a calm member of your family.

Canine Resistance Training (CRT)

CRT is a strength and conditioning program that is designed specifically for each individual dog. CRT is not limited to any one breed, size or age of dog. It is a safe way to train to increase a dog’s healthy lifestyle, building muscle while at the same time contributing to a healthy mindset.

With my experience as a Pilates teacher focusing on post rehab, I am very aware of alignment and structure. This knowledge gives me a different ‘eye’ when working with a dog. The muscular re-education and skeletal realignment that CRT provides will help to prevent injury.

The benefit of CRT does not stop with the mind and body, but also aids in the forging of a deeper relationship with your dog.
